A NEW women only networking group is collaborating with Rochdale AFC and is inviting local businesswomen to its first meeting at the Club, Crown Oil Arena, Sandy Lane, Rochdale OL11 5DR.
The Rochdale Unique Ladies’ group is aimed at helping local businesswomen meet each other, support and network. Founder of Unique Ladies UK Limited, and newly appointed Non Exec Board Director of Rochdale AFC Suzy Orr explained: “We want to give businesswomen the chance to make new and useful contacts in a pleasant atmosphere with no crippling membership fees. My brief from the club, is to get women involved at all levels, Women in business is my first call”
Unique Ladies is the brainchild of businesswoman Suzy. In 2015, she decided that she wanted to create a new type of networking group which did not ask for large membership fees but instead offered an informal and effective way for women to get together.
The formula worked and, after the initial group, more Unique Ladies’ groups followed across Lancashire, Bolton, Blackburn, Chorley, Preston. Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Salford and also up in Kendal.
“I am delighted that we are able to have a Unique Ladies’ group in Rochdale, our collaboration with The Dale is exciting and a much needed step forward, we have many interesting and inspirational speakers planned,” stated Suzy.
“There is plenty of business passed at the Unique Ladies’ groups in enjoyable and informative meetings that only cost £20 a session. I would love to hear from more local businesswomen who would like to come along to join us on the 6th October at 9am – 11.30am
