Thunderbowl, in partnership with Bowling Vision, has undergone a significant revamp of its games offerings, introducing Interactive Darts and state-of-the-art bowling technology.
Darts has undergone a remarkable transformation, and Thunderbowl is bringing this exciting gaming craze to Kettering. Interactive Darts is a technologically enhanced version of the traditional game, where groups of friends compete in fast-paced, competitive, dart-based games.
Established in the 80s, Thunderbowl has long been a popular leisure destination on the outskirts of the town centre. As part of a recent renovation project, Thunderbowl added interactive darts to its lineup of activities.
The cutting-edge darts board detects where the dart lands, instantly displaying the scoring information on a large TV screen. Simply upload your selfie, select your game, and start throwing. No more chalkboards or arguments over dart placement—the technology handles all the scoring work.
A wide selection of exciting games awaits, including Halve It, where hitting gold segments increases your score, or the ruthless game of Killer, where you aim at your friends’ segments to eliminate them.
Thunderbowl has created stunning wood-panelled surrounds for its Interactive Darts lanes, offering not only a truly modern gaming sensation but also the authentic experience of a London gaming bar.
In addition to introducing interactive darts, Thunderbowl has invested in upgrading its bowling facilities. Collaborating with local bowling distributor Bowling Vision, they have replaced all their free fall pinsetters with the latest String Pin pinsetters, which offer a superior and more enjoyable experience for customers. They have also introduced a cutting-edge scoring system with a wide range of game options.
With Sync Scoring, you can play a standard game of bowling or choose from various on-screen gaming formats to ramp up the fun. Kids will particularly love the Sync scoring games, and you can try different games each time you bowl or return to enjoy your family favorites.
There’s plenty to enjoy at Thunderbowl, Kettering. Alongside 16 bowling lanes and two interactive darts lanes, you can also indulge in American pool, adventure golf, and escape rooms, ensuring there’s something for the whole family.
Thunderbowl is operated by creative entrepreneurs Clair and Martin Rowland, who have been running the establishment since 2005. Clair expressed their commitment to continual reinvestment, stating, “Over the years, we have added various activities to the site and upgraded equipment in the centre. The addition of darts is fantastic as it brings people of all ages together, providing quality time for everyone with even more to do at our site.”
