Storio Group Unveils Its New Identity and Leadership Strategy to Catalyse Growth

Transforming from its erstwhile identity as albelli-Photobox Group, the conglomerate behind esteemed brands like Photobox UK and Bonusprint, has now been rebranded as Storio group. This strategic rebranding marks a critical juncture in the European personalised photo product landscape, underscored by an impressive revenue exceeding EUR 340M and a customer base of over 11 million. In tandem with this rebranding effort, a significant change in leadership has been announced, with Alessandro Coppo taking up the mantle of CEO from Tristan Money, effective from February 8th, 2024. This leadership transition is at the heart of the company’s post-merger strategic vision, which aims to focus on integration, spur innovation, and encourage growth.

The announcements of this pivotal rebranding and leadership transition were made during an engaging internal launch event, streamed live from Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona. This event brought together the company’s extensive European operations in a collective digital celebration, marking the onset of a promising new chapter for Storio group, with company-wide festivities.

Following a distinguished nine-year term, which saw the successful amalgamation with Photobox in January 2022, Tristan Money handed over the leadership to Alessandro Coppo.

Alessandro Coppo, with a comprehensive background spanning more than 25 years, including pivotal roles at Boston Consulting Group and a significant 17-year tenure at eBay, has been chosen to lead Storio group towards an innovative future. His tenure at eBay, characterised by escalating the Classifieds Group’s revenues from $300M to beyond $1B, exemplifies his ability to utilise technology for connecting people and fostering secure, enjoyable commerce experiences. His rich experience is ideally suited to the strategic direction and cultural ethos of Storio group.

As the newly appointed CEO, Alessandro is eager to leverage the strong foundation laid by Tristan and the management team, aspiring to transform Storio group into a distinguished and well-loved brand that connects individuals to their most precious moments.

The transition to Storio group illustrates the company’s commitment to growth and its pledge to deliver memorable experiences. This rebranding initiative reflects the company’s dedication to innovation and expansion within the industry.
