It has become increasingly challenging to find fair prices in one’s local area.”
Dolman further added, “Living in London doesn’t automatically mean exorbitant divorce costs. By leveraging online platforms, individuals have the opportunity to work with solicitors from across the country, securing competitive rates and saving money in the process.”
Research Methodology Lawhive meticulously collected data from solicitors based in the UK’s 50 largest cities and towns, utilising population figures from the Office for National Statistics. A minimum of three quotes were obtained from solicitors in each city, with an average of 3.5 quotes per city. All quotes were specifically for divorce services.
Consumer Advice Consumers are advised to consider solicitors beyond their local area. With the convenience of online accessibility, individuals can engage with solicitors remotely across the nation, potentially saving hundreds of pounds by finding more competitive rates.
