How to Watch World Juniors Ice Hockey in Canada and USA: Live Streams, Full TV Schedule, and Start times for every 2024 IIHF Hockey Game
The 2024 World Juniors is all set to kick off at Gothenburg, Sweden, with ten teams battling for the rights to be crowned World Champions at the U20 level.
Canada is entering the event as the defending gold medalist. Coyotes prospect Dylan Guenther scored the golden goal in the championship against Czechia, securing the country its second consecutive World Juniors title.
No team has won three straight World Juniors titles since Canada won five consecutive championships from 2005 to 2009. That said, Canada can make it three straight golds this year.
Meanwhile, the USA is coming off a bronze medal finish last year, defeating Sweden in overtime to finish third. The USA lost only one game at the event, but that came against Canada in the semi-finals.
Moving forward, they enter the event this year as the favorite to win gold, with a deep squad that includes first-round picks Cutter Gauthier (Flyers), Jimmy Snuggerud (Blues), Rutger McGroarty (Jets), and Will Smith (Sharks).
