The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites attendees to explore 76 of Korea’s most innovative and eco-conscious food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s premier food innovation exhibition, marking its 60th anniversary this year.
From 19th to 23rd October 2024, the Korean Pavilion, organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will feature 76 promising Korean companies. These businesses will showcase a range of agricultural and food products designed for global buyers who are seeking innovative, health-focused options.
Situated in Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Korean Pavilion will present a variety of traditional and modern Korean foods. From fermented sauces and Kimchi to noodles, ready meals, beverages, Ginseng, and plant-based vegan products, these items reflect the growing global demand for sustainable, plant-based foods.
Korean Cuisine’s Growing Appeal in Europe
Korean food is on the rise in Europe, appreciated for its combination of health benefits and rich flavours. With major retailers like Carrefour and Monoprix offering Korean food products, the Pavilion at SIAL Paris provides an excellent platform to explore this expanding trend. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with producers, sample the products, and form valuable business relationships.
The increasing interest in vegan and plant-based diets across Europe has contributed to the rise of Korean cuisine, which is being embraced by chefs and consumers alike for its versatility and flavour.
