Digital platforms are “the new way of conducting business in the real estate debt market,” says the head of real estate finance at BWFD
FinLoop, the software solutions provider to the commercial real estate debt market, has secured BWFD Investment & Real Estate Consulting as the latest adopter of the firm’s White Label module.
The agreement with the Berlin-based real estate debt advisor and investor follows a similar partnership with Adelaer Financial Architects, the Netherlands’ largest real estate debt broker, which was announced earlier in the year.
Commenting on the latest deal, FinLoop’s founder and chief executive, Thomas Schneider, said: “BWFD now has a fully independent and fully tailored software solution that is connected to the whole real estate debt market.
“Digitalisation is impacting the property industry at a global level and those involved in real estate finance are increasingly reliant on data analysis, transforming the way in which the sector operates.
“As an innovator, BWFD understands the value that digitalisation brings to the business and those it works with. The use of FinLoop’s technology in this way provides BWFD with a significant competitive advantage,” he added. FinLoop’s White Label includes modules for client onboarding & management, loan comparison and analysis tools, and various bespoke reporting options to monitor KPI’s.
Commenting on the agreement with FinLoop, Eugene Owusu, Head of Real Estate Finance at BWFD, said: “Our deal with FinLoop provides great potential to improve the efficiency of our business processes and to bring value to our clients and partners. The platform vastly increases the number of loan applications and deals that our team can process. Redundant monitoring tasks will be taken over by the software, freeing up valuable time of highly trained BWFD personnel.
“FinLoop’s White Label product gives us this ability and introduces speed to the game. This is a huge benefit, and our goal is to enable borrowers to extend their network of lenders easily and efficiently and provide them with access to a wider choice of funding opportunities, providing borrowers with a broad spectrum of loans.
“The platform also allows the real-time generation of reports and cash flow analysis models that provide us with an overview of property portfolios and real estate loans. FinLoop also provides us with the ability to introduce new features to its business processes, bringing even greater benefits to our clients and partners.
“This is the new way of conducting business in the real estate debt market,” he concluded.
